Applications are invited for the SHEQ Assistant position that has arisen within Baker’s Inn Sales & Distribution – Northern Region, Harare. The candidate will be required to take full charge of all key responsibilities that include but are not limited to the following: Conduct workplace SHEQ inspections, audits, and hazard identification activities. Assist with risk assessments, incident investigations, and implementation of corrective actions. Monitor compliance with occupational safety, health, environmental, and food safety standards. Coordinate SHEQ inductions, toolbox talks, emergency drills, and employee awareness programmes. Maintain SHEQ records, permits, registers, statutory documentation, and performance reports. Support contractor compliance, environmental management initiatives, and internal and external SHEQ audits. Compile SHEQ statistics, KPI reports, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives. Promote a strong safety culture across the business through employee engagement and compliance monitoring.
