Procurement Manager

Description

TIMB is a statutory regulatory authority responsible for regulating and promoting the development of Zimbabwe's Tobacco Industry. TIMB has appointed Gala-Way Management Services as its recruitment consultant to assist with the recruitment and selection of a suitably qualified, experienced and results-oriented professional for the position of Procurement Manager. The successful candidate will report to the CEO. Duties and Responsibilities Develops, implements and monitors annual procurement plans, budgets, policies and procedures. Provides strategic procurement advice to the CEO, Executive Management and user departments. Determines appropriate procurement methods and manages tendering, bidding, evaluation and award processes. Prepares and reviews solicitation documents, tender documents, evaluation reports and other procurement documents. Coordinates evaluation committees and manages relevant submissions and engagements with PRAZ. Conducts market analysis and provides procurement intelligence to support value-for-money decisions.
