Description

Progress Mine is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Officer to support the effective management of the company's human resources functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruitment and selection, employee relations, performance management, payroll administration, training and development, HR records management, and ensuring compliance with Zimbabwean labour laws and company policies. The role requires a highly organized individual with excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills who can contribute to maintaining a productive and compliant work environment.

Requirements

- Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, or a related field. - Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Human Resources role, preferably within the mining, manufacturing, or heavy industry sectors. - Sound knowledge of the Zimbabwe Labour Act, NEC codes, and HR best practices. - Strong skills in recruitment, employee relations, payroll administration, and labour law compliance. - Proficient in Microsoft Office and Human Resources Management Systems (HRMS). General Requirements - Must be willing and ready to relocate to Filabusi. - Must be a team player with high integrity and excellent communication skills. - Residence in Filabusi or willingness to relocate immediately.
