DATA ANALYST

Description

Performs data extraction, cleansing, validation, and analysis to support IT and operational audit engagements. Executes audit analytics to test controls, identify exceptions, and detect anomalies in systems and processes. Supports risk assessments and audit planning through data analysis and trend identification. Develops dashboards, reports, and visualisations to support audit findings and management reporting. Assists in continuous auditing and monitoring activities under the guidance of the Data Scientist. Analyses data from ICT systems, including core banking, payment systems, ERP, and other digital platforms. Documents analytics procedures and results in line with internal audit standards and methodology. Supports follow-up audits by analysing remediation data and management action progress. Collaborates with ICT Auditors to align analytics work with audit objectives and regulatory requirements. Participates in advisory engagements related to data, systems, and process improvements.
