Description

The Humana People to People Federation, which is based in Shamva, seeks to recruit a Chief Accountant to work in their offices in Shamva. Key Duties and Responsibilities include capturing key transactions, supervising accounting clerks, preparing management accounts, managing statutory compliance, scrutinizing procurement processes, reconciling balances, implementing internal control procedures, serving as liaison for auditors, and mentoring accounting clerks.

Requirements

1. Accounting Degree. Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA is an added advantage. 2. Extensive knowledge of Accounting systems and packages like Pastel/Sage. 3. 4+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role. 4. Good with Microsoft Excel and Office. 5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 6. High Integrity: Trusted handling of sensitive corporate financial data. 7. Meticulous attention to detail.
