SHEQ OFFICER

Description

A leading organization in Harare is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced SHEQ Officers responsible for ensuring that there is overall provision and adherence to Safety, Health and Environmental policies and services in the Company. Duties and Accountabilities Develop and enforce SHEQ policies, risk assessments and safe work procedures. Conduct daily safety inspections, safety talks and monthly safety audits. Investigate incidents/accidents and near misses and produce reports with corrective actions. Maintain accident register. Ensure availability of PPE and conduct checks. Organize first aid and fire management training. Ensure compliance with EMA regulations on waste management, dust and hazardous substances. Monitor effluent disposal. Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage. Conduct SHEQ induction. Maintain licenses and environmental management plan.
