Mega Market (Pvt) Ltd, a leading retail and manufacturing organization, is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Process Electrician. The successful candidate will join our Technical Operations Department and play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of electrical systems and production equipment. Key Responsibilities - Install, maintain, inspect, and repair electrical equipment, machinery, and control systems used in production processes. - Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults on production lines to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency. - Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, drives, switchgear, control panels, sensors, and automated systems. - Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and productivity. - Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals. - Ensure all electrical installations and maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company standards. - Assist with commissioning, testing, and upgrading of plant equipment and electrical systems. - Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare technical reports as required. - Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to support uninterrupted plant operations. - Participate in emergency breakdown response and shift maintenance activities when required.

Requirements

- Journeyman Class 1, National Certificate, National Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, or a related field. - Valid Process Electrician Trade Test Certificate. - At least 2–5 years of practical experience in a manufacturing, processing, FMCG, industrial, or production plant environment. - Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, PLCs, automation systems, and fault-finding techniques. - Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings. - Good understanding of occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. - Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to equipment breakdowns.
