ASSISTANT FITTER

Description

Applications are invited from interested and suitably qualified people to fill in a vacancy that has arisen in the organization. To assist the Fitter in all the following tasks and responsibilities. Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and servicing of mechanical equipment. Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on machinery and plant equipment. Assemble and install new equipment according to technical specifications and drawings. Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce equipment failures. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and manuals. Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs. Identify and report potential risks or equipment defects. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure smooth operations. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
