We are looking for a Maintenance Fitter for a Full-Time, Permanent role with a major Government-Owned Utility. This isn't just a job; it's a career-defining position where you take ownership of the massive pumps, dams, and mechanical systems that power the region.Undertake routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on large-scale water assets. Perform fault analysis on complex mechanical systems and "detective work" to keep machines running. Supervise on-site contractors and provide direction and mentoring to Apprentices. Manage permits to work and SWMS to ensure every job is done safely. Participate in the on-call roster and emergency response (Flood Ops) to protect the community.
