Description

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Finance Manager to oversee the Financial Operations of their Gold Mining Entity. The rightful candidate is someone with a background in Mining Finance, Cost Control, and Regulatory Compliance. This role is pivotal in ensuring financial transparency, strategic planning, and operational efficiency across exploration, production, and export activities. Lead the Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting Processes for Mining Operations. Prepare and present accurate Financial Reports, including Cost Analysis, Production Accounting, and Profitability Assessments. Ensure compliance with Zimbabwean Mining Regulations, Tax Laws, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Manage Cash Flow, Capital Expenditure, and Working Capital to Support Operational and Strategic Goals. Oversee Financial Audits, Risk Assessments, and Internal Control Systems. Monitor and report on Cost Drivers, Variances, and Financial Performance across departments. Liaise with external stakeholders including Banks, Auditors, ZIMRA, and the Ministry of Mines. Support Procurement and Inventory Management through Financial Oversight and Reconciliation. Develop and Implement Financial Policies and Procedures tailored to Mining Operations. Provide Financial Insights to guide Investment Decisions, Feasibility Studies, and Expansion Plans. Supervise and mentor Finance Team Members, Fostering a Culture of Accountability and Excellence.
