Description

Mechanical Fitter based in Harare, reporting to the Projects and Maintenance Engineer. zuva. Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical plant and equipment.Diagnose faults and perform corrective maintenance. Conduct preventative and routine maintenance in line with maintenance schedules. Receives and verifies breakdown maintenance works via the help desk. Conducts risk assessments prior to repair works in line with SHEQ policies and procedures. Checks and follows up breakdown closures by contractors daily.

Requirements

A National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a Fitter and Turner’s certificate from a recognized institution. A valid Class 1 Journeyman in the relevant trade. A valid trade measures certificate. Minimum of Two (2) years’ experience in a fitting and turning position. Experience in working with hydrocarbons, Aviation and LPG operations is desirable.
