Kempe Engineering is currently seeking to employ Fitters to work in the Kempe Workshop and our Clientβs sites in the South West region of Victoria. As part of this role, you will be expected to work in the branch workshop or on client manufacturing sites doing maintenance and sustainable capital works on fixed plant and mobile equipment. Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications to distinguish suitable materials, method and machine settings to complete works effectively Produce finished machines and equipment by fitting / assembling metal parts Inspect, analyze and recording of critical information during mechanical refurbishing process Check parts for suitable fit, purpose and accuracy using measuring equipment
