Description

Motor mechanic Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on company vehicles. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Conduct inspections and testing to identify faults and recommend repairs. Maintain accurate maintenance records and generate reports for fleet management. Ensure vehicles comply with roadworthiness, licensing, and safety requirements. Perform vehicle assessments and advise management on issues that will prohibit vehicles from passing roadworthiness inspection Supervise and assist subordinate team members with hands-on technical assistance and advice

Requirements

Apprenticeship-trained or trade-certified mechanic (Class I Journeyman). Minimum 5 years’ experience in vehicle servicing and repairs, preferably with fleet management. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiar with Fleet Management systems. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Clean Class 4 or 2 driver’s license. 5 ‘O’ Levels including English; post-apprenticeship experience in a reputable company.
