Description

Analyse the structure/ building plan in order to come up with routes or channels for electrical pipes as and when necessary. Install electrical equipment as and when necessary. Advise power supply companies such as ZESA on electricity connections for GMB structures as and when necessary. Maintain electrical plant and equipment in accordance with set standards and regulations on an ongoing basis. Carry out capital and re-occurant budget estimates as bills of quantity annually for the entire province Identify materials to be purchased eg, type and make of MCB or timer that differs in behavior for installations and repairs and sources for quotations from suppliers as and when necessary. Originate relevant documents e.g. internal requisitions and job cards goods received vouchers and internal movement of assets as and when necessary
