Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced personnel to fill the above-mentioned position within the Computer Systems Department. The incumbent will report to the Computer Systems Manager and will be based at Head Office Monitor networks. servers, and applications for security anomalies or threats using SIEM and log tools. Detect, analyze, and respond to security events, intrusions, and incidents. Maintain and optimize security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, antivirus, etc.).
Vulnerability & Risk Management
Conduct regular vulnerability scans, risk assessments, and penetration tests. Review and prioritize identified vulnerabilities for remediation. Provide actionable recommendations to IT teams to strengthen system security.
Incident Response & Forensics
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity. Computer Science. Information Technology, or related field.
A Master’s degree in relevant field is an advantage.
Professional certifications in Security/ EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)/Cisco CCNA Security / CyberOps/ CompTIA Security/ ISO 27001 Lead Auditor /Lead Implementer/ CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)/ Microsoft/ AWS/Sophos/Dell/Veeam an added advantage.
Five (5) O’ level passes including English, Mathematics/Accounts
Proven experience in incident response, threat analysis, and security architecture.
Experience working in a corporate ICT environment.
Minimum of Five (5) years of experience in cybersecurity. IT security operations, or related fields."
