Description
We are seeking a highly organised, analytical and commercially minded Resource Controller / Cost & Project Accountant to ensure organisational resources are visible, accurately controlled, efficiently utilised, correctly costed and available when and where the business needs them. The role combines resource management, inventory control, procurement oversight, cost accounting, project accounting, inventory valuation and ERP controls.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Cost & Management Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business Management or a related field. Professional or progressing qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CIS or equivalent is an advantage. Experience in cost accounting, inventory accounting/management, procurement, project accounting, ERP systems, stock valuation, landed costing, budget control and operational reporting. Strong numerical ability, analytical thinking, commercial awareness and attention to detail. Strong process discipline, cross-functional coordination and confidence investigating and challenging variances. Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and reporting tools. Odoo ERP experience, particularly Inventory, Purchase, Accounting, Projects, Assets, Analytic Accounting, Stock Valuation and Landed Costs, is highly advantageous. Experience in telecommunications, infrastructure, logistics, technology or project-based organisations is advantageous.
