Description

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes to ensure uninterrupted product availability. • Conduct demand planning and prepare procurement plans based on sales forecasts and stock requirements. • Monitor stock levels, goods in transit, and inventory cover targets. • Raise and manage purchase orders accurately and timeously. • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and monitor supplier performance. • Conduct price checks, verify quotations, and resolve invoice discrepancies. • Coordinate importation activities, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance. • Calculate duties, taxes, landed costs, and ensure accurate product costing. • Perform margin analysis and support pricing decisions. • Maintain procurement documentation, reports, and system records. • Manage product expiries and support inventory reconciliations and stock counts. • Prepare procurement, inventory, and months cover reports for management. • Engage internal stakeholders to improve stock availability and working capital efficiency.

Requirements

• Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or related field. • CIPS qualification or progress towards CIPS is an added advantage. • Minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement, preferably within FMCG. • Experience in costing, inventory management, importation, and customs procedures. • Strong Excel and ERP systems knowledge. • Excellent negotiation, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. • High levels of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
