A reputable company is looking for an experienced Metal Fabrication Supervisor to join its production team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise daily metal fabrication and welding activities Allocate duties and monitor workers’ performance Read and interpret engineering drawings Ensure quality standards are maintained Coordinate fabrication, fitting and welding work Monitor materials, tools and equipment Enforce workplace health and safety procedures Ensure production targets and deadlines are achieved
Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ experience in metal fabrication and welding Proven experience in a supervisory/team-lead role Relevant qualification in Metal Fabrication, Welding, Fitting or related field Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings Strong knowledge of fabrication and welding processes Good leadership and communication skills Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines Candidates with relevant trade qualifications will have an advantage
