Description
We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to provide technical support, maintain and troubleshoot IT systems across restaurants and offices. The successful candidate will diagnose hardware, software and network faults, support Point of Sale (POS) systems, perform preventive maintenance, maintain IT documentation and provide professional technical support. The candidate must have strong technical skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Requirements
Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field (minimum requirement). A degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage. Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, computer hardware and software troubleshooting. Working knowledge of LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP and basic network troubleshooting. Experience supporting POS systems will be an added advantage. Experience in a food service, retail or multi-site environment will be an added advantage. A valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure. High levels of integrity, accountability, professionalism and customer service.
