TyreRight Pakenham is a well-established local tyre specialist, and we’re excited to expand into full car and truck servicing. We’re looking for a skilled and versatile Mechanic to join our growing team as we build this new service arm of the business.If you’re a hands-on tradesperson who enjoys variety — from light vehicle repairs to truck maintenance — and want to be part of a supportive, community-focused workshop, this is a great opportunity. We value reliability, quality workmanship, and a positive attitude.About You Qualified Mechanic with Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent) and/or Heavy Vehicle/Diesel experience preferred. Mid-level experience (2–5+ years) — able to handle a wide range of servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance tasks independently. Comfortable working on both passenger vehicles/cars and light-medium trucks. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Reliable, customer-focused, and a team player. Australian work rights or open to visa sponsorship (we can support eligible candidates with 482 visa sponsorship). What You’ll Do Perform routine servicing, mechanical repairs, and maintenance on cars and trucks. Diagnostics, brake work, suspension, steering, and general automotive repairs. Tyre-related mechanical work (alignments, balancing, etc.). Help establish and grow our new servicing operations. Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and customer service. Requirements
