Description
The Head Supply Chain will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of the end-to-end supply chain function to ensure efficient procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, contract administration, vendor management, and supply planning to support business growth, operational excellence, network expansion, and digital transformation initiatives.
Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Supply Chain Management/ Procurement/ Logistics, or a related field. A Master's Degree will be an added advantage. A professional qualification such as CIPS/ CILT. At least 8 years' relevant experience in Supply Chain Management, of which 5 years should be at a Senior Management level. Strong experience in Strategic Sourcing, Contract Negotiation, Procurement Governance, Logistics, and Supplier Management. Sound understanding of import management, forex-sensitive procurement, and Zimbabwean business operating dynamics.
