Fitter-Welder - Food Security Location: Beverley, Western Australia Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 AUD per annum (plus superannuation) Category: Trades & Services / Mechanical & Fabrication Summary We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter-Welder on behalf of our client, Food Security. This permanent full-time role is responsible for the fabrication, welding, assembly, maintenance, and repair of agricultural machinery and infrastructure across cropping, piggery, and livestock operations. About the Role The Fitter-Welder plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational reliability of farm equipment and infrastructure, including feed systems, heavy machinery, livestock facilities, irrigation equipment, and general plant. This position is suited to someone who is experienced in both precision mechanical fitting and various welding techniques and is comfortable working in a rural agricultural setting. Requirements

Hold an AQF Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Fitting and Welding) or equivalent; OR Have at least 3 years of full-time relevant experience as a Fitter-Welder, preferably in an agricultural or industrial environment Required Skills and Attributes: Proficiency in mechanical fitting and multiple welding techniques (MIG, TIG, arc, gas) Competence in using fabrication tools including grinders, drills, presses, and cutting equipment Experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and blueprints Ability to carry out on-site and workshop-based repairs efficiently Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work autonomously
