Electrician

Description

We are a leading FMCG business with a high-volume manufacturing and distribution operation, and we are looking for a qualified Electrician to join our Engineering & Maintenance team. You will play a critical role in keeping our production lines, facilities, and equipment running safely and efficiently. Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems, machinery, and plant equipment across the production facility Diagnose and repair electrical faults on production lines, conveyors, packaging machinery, and utilities to minimise downtime Install, test, and commission new electrical equipment and systems in line with specifications and safety regulations Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant electrical regulations and company health & safety policies Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, fault reports, and electrical test results Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns, working flexibly to support 24/7 production demands when required Collaborate with the wider engineering team and production staff to identify and implement reliability improvements Support project work including factory upgrades, new equipment installations, and energy efficiency initiatives
