Description
We are seeking a qualified Class 1 Diesel Engine Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience working on heavy-duty diesel equipment, particularly Caterpillar (CAT) engines.
Requirements
Class 1 Diesel Engine Mechanic qualification. Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience working with Caterpillar (CAT) engines. Proven experience in the maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting, and overhaul of diesel engines and heavy equipment. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance programmes. Good understanding of health and safety standards. Ability to work independently and under pressure. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
