Description
Diagnose, repair and maintain electrical systems on heavy-duty trucks. Troubleshoot starting, charging, lighting and ignition systems. Repair wiring, alternators, starters, batteries and other electrical components. Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve electrical faults. Conduct preventive electrical maintenance and inspections. Ensure all work meets safety and company standards.
Requirements
Relevant qualification in Auto Electrical/Electrical Engineering. At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably with heavy-duty trucks. Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Ability to work independently and under pressure. Valid driver’s licence is an added advantage. Must be willing to work in Mutare.
