Assistant Electrician

Description

Assist with electrical installations, repairs, maintenance and fault diagnosis. Maintain electrical systems at Council properties, water and sewer facilities. Assist with public lighting projects. Conduct site inspections. Prepare/recommend electrical components and parts. Assist with preparation of BOQs. Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

5 O’ Levels, including Mathematics and English. Skilled Worker Class 2 Electrician Certificate. At least 2 years’ traceable relevant experience. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Experience with hand/power tools, soldering, basic welding and electrical testing equipment.
