Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to oversee the financial operations of our mining business. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, ensuring statutory compliance, and providing financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CA(Z), CIS, or equivalent is an added advantage. - Minimum of 3 years' accounting experience, preferably in the mining, manufacturing, or heavy industrial sector. - Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Pastel, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems. - Strong understanding of Zimbabwean tax laws and financial reporting standards. - Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills. - High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
